The community centre

The facilities for the community centre are within the glass capsule towards the district itself and linked to the shopping centre. The attractive interior/exterior space in the microclimate capsule is open to the public during the day.

The district library is located on the ground and lower floors of the representative cone, which is meant to illustrate meditation and concentration. This can be used by the public on four days of the week to borrow and inspect books and other media.

Opposite the library, and still within the microclimate capsule, is the civic hall. The district councillors for Sodingen meet here, and initiatives from the district can find a room here for various uses with seating for up to 300, for festivals, parties, meetings, talks, theatre, exhibitions. Outside organisers of conferences and congresses can also hire this room at weekends. Information may be obtained from the operator - Betriebsgesellschaft Akademie Mont Cenis (BAMC).
